Reduction of up to 43 dB is the lab-tested rating. Real floors vary, and a pod placed next to a busy walkway performs differently from one in a corner.

Rent is calculated at the metro's average full-service asking rate. Floor area figures exclude circulation space, and the pod column includes the monthly rental fee while the room column excludes fit-out and reinstatement. Market rates come from published CBRE and JLL data and should be confirmed against a current report for your submarket.

Buying is cheaper after month 24.Renting stays ahead until then, and it carries no resale or disposal risk.
Upkeep on a purchased pod is estimated at 4% of the purchase price a year, plus $600 for each relocation, assuming one move a year. Change the purchase price to match a quote you have been given. This model excludes the cost of capital and any depreciation or resale value.

Rent-to-buy sits between the two lines above. You rent as normal, 60% of every payment credits against the purchase price, and from month 12 you can buy the pod for whatever is left.
